Jamie D. Narramore
  Professional Angler
I was born April 24, 1963 in Rio Linda, California.  I attended high school at Vanden
High School at Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California where I lettered in football
and baseball.
I Joined the US Army in February 1981 and attended Basic and advanced training at Fort
Benning, Georgia.  After training, I was assigned to Germany as an Infantryman and this
is where I met my wife Andrea, and we have been married for 27 years. I have two
Children, Jamie Jr. 26 and Bianca 23.  I also have a granddaughter, Mikayla, 5 years old.
Throughout my military career, I held various assignments such as Squad Leader, Drill
Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant and First Sergeant.  The most notable accomplishments of
my career was being awarded the Bronze Star medal for actions against the enemy in
Iraq, the Meritorious Service Medal, The Legion of Merit, Induction into the Sergeant
Audy Murphy and Morales clubs, being inducted into the Order of Saint Maurice, and
being written about in Tom Clancy’s “Into the Storm”, and “The 7th Infantry Regiment”
by John C. McManus.
I currently live in Lavaca, Arkansas and I am currently employed by Chugach
Government Services, Inc. as a Project Manager managing a Facilities Maintenance
contract for the US Department of Energy, Office of Secure Transportation.  I have held
this position for the past seven years.  I also own a Lawn and Landscaping business as a
side business.
I began fishing competitively after I retired from the Army.  I am currently sponsored by
American Rodsmiths, Ardent reels, V&M/Cyclone baits, Rat-L-Trap, Royal Purple
Synthetic oil, Ultimate Bucketmouth, and Steve Standridge Insurance Company.
My most memorable fishing experiences are making it to the American Bass Anglers
National Championship held on Clarks Hill Reservoir in 2007 where I caught the second
largest big fish that weighed 7.68 pounds and finishing 27th overall out of 225 and being
able to represent ABA at the BASS Central Opens.
I have been on the American Bass Anglers Pro Staff going on three years and run their
advertisement wrap on my boat. I currently fish the Arkansas and Oklahoma BassMaster
Weekend Series schedules. My two favorite lakes in Arkansas are Dardanelle and
Millwood.
My interests are family, fishing and hunting.
