Winter boat maintenance you can do yourself.
Check tires for wear and correct pressure.
Make sure all the water is drained from the live-well
system, ice chest, and lowest parts of the boat.
Check for line behind prop on the motor and trolling
motor.
Service the batteries and keep charged during down time.
Check for loose screws and wires on the trailer and boat.
Check online to see if the GPS or sonar needs updated
software.
Clean out the junk you no longer use and organize baits.
Winter is the best time to get the water impeller changed
and other repairs done at your local dealer, they are
usually slower and you will have less wait time.
